The first step was forming the team: I consulted with friends from Monash University, High School and Mannix College. The name - 'Bodacious': not only a combination of the words 'bold' and 'audacious', but a historical reference to 'Bodacious', a Texan bull renowned for its audacity, vigour and excellence. These were the ideals we were to subscribe to.
The next step: not an easy one. My teammates and I endevoured to learn Python in a matter of weeks, and had to rely on machine learning to predict directions and volume of the market. This, not to mention, was done so with little prior experience in the field of machine learning.
Weeks of simulations, trial and error, and rounds we were fortunate enough to reach the semi-final round of an extremely intense competition. Although not the victors, it remains as one of the most fruitful experiences I've participated in, and the whole tournament only furthered my desire to become apart involved in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics.
