My Career so far

My career experience primarily revolves around two things: financial modelling and merging software with hardware. It is these two areas that intrigue me most, and it is an objective of mine to develop these skills into a long-standing passion of mine: robotics.

Listed below are the numerous skills I believe to have attained through previous work commitments and my tertiary studies.

Technical Problem Solving
I believe my strongest skill to be my problem solving ability. From even a young age this is something I have always been capable in, as reflected in my proficiency for mathematics and science. This is reflected in my placement in the 99th percentile of the Logic Section of the Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test, a rare feat.
Excellent Communication Skills
Consistent participation in extra-curricular activities such as debating, where I had the privilege to captain our side to the Victorian Semi-Finals, has made me a very competent communicator both publically and privately.
Critical Thinking
'Leave no stone unturned.'
I have always eagerly questioned the world around me, and tried to defy what is considered by the majority to be the 'norm'. It is my hope that this curiosity in me never dwindles, and I can join an organisation that not only accepts this curiosity, but feeds it.
Leadership
Prominent positions in my sporting endeavours, as well as my captaining of the debating team, has allowed me to familiarise myself with the numerous qualities of leadership. This is an area I am always consciously trying to improve, as I one day hope to see myself as an effective and decisive leader.
Lofty Ambition
Throughout my education, I have relentlessly sought to better my self. This is a drive that spans across all the aspects of my life and one I hope to remain: always, 'what needs to be done next?'
Works Well Under Pressure
Strict time constraints working in the hospitality and construction industry have been admittedly challenging, but rewarding. It has made me well-accustomed to meeting strict deadlines, being accountable, and delegating and accepting responsibility for a host of tasks.
Understands Risk
My experience at Latence Technologies, where I developed financial models based on the risk appetite of customers, made me appreciate and account for risk. This had to be the foremost consideration in my work, as it was always my primary objective to achieve a balanced portfolio for the customer arrived at by considering the first, second and third order derrivatives of risk intuitively
